The 2025 paddling season is now open! The spring maintenance of the southern part of the Squirrel route has been completed and the northern part of the route on the Juva side is ready for paddling.
At the moment you can paddle between:
- The starting point of Toivio (Juva) - Sulkava centre.
- Konnusjoki hut (Juva) - Highway 14.
The canoeing route service price list has been updated for this year. See the services below and make your service reservations with the route operators Juva Camping (tel. +358 44 2390 745, email. camping@juvacamping.com) or Sulkavan Oravanpesät (tel. +358 400 938 076, email.pasi.vironen@oravanpesat.fi).
If you don't need the services and are setting off on the route with your own equipment, please inform either Juva Camping or Sulkavan Oravanpesät, so we can keep track of the number of paddlers on the route at any given time.
